In High River, chuckwagon racing is more than just a sport—it's in our blood. Back in 1979, the High River Ag Society stepped up to host the legendary 'Battle of the Giants,' solidifying our town as a true home for the wagons. Today, the Battle of the Foothills carries on that tradition.
There’s nothing quite like the thunder of hooves and the roar of the crowd as the best in the WPCA go wheel-to-wheel right here on our track. Come join us from July 23–26, 2026, and feel the ground shake for yourself!
